Tell us what flooded and whether drying has started.
Repairing wet framing traps moisture. We wait for readings, then repair what the water actually damaged.
Cavities and subfloors visible — you see what the flood did before we close it.
The layer under the finish floor is where water hides. We repair it before hardwood or tile.
Like-for-like restoration is the default. Upgrades are written, not assumed.
The team that dried the house does not hand you to a stranger for framing.
What we repair once it is dry
Once demolition is clean and readings pass, we write a structural scope. You approve it before we rebuild — insurance restores what was there; better is optional.

Cupped hardwood and stained drywall are visible. Rotten bottom plates are not — until walls are open. Shield’s restoration path includes structural assessment so the rebuild sits on sound framing.
This is not a general contracting page for unrelated renovations. It is post-water structural repair as part of flood restoration. Call for an assessment after a loss, or if drying is already underway.
